About Us

Eurodata Computer Services Limited was originally started by John Baxter in 1976 as a punched card bureau which has now grown and has over 30 operators. In the last 34 years, over 150,000 individual jobs have been keyed and verified covering over 200 million records.

We have worked with virtually every major market research company since starting either directly or indirectly via consultants or fieldwork companies.

Eurodata and CADS (Coding & Data Services) form a professionally run group with experienced staff who are dedicated and hard-working.  Many of our staff have worked in the company for over 30 years and receive a share of profits.

CADS, has served the market research industry since 1985and now employs 40 staff and was acquired by Eurodata in 1999.  CADS operates from our Beckenham office with a coding department and data entry department (punch room).  The coding team handles a wide variety of subject matter ranging from simple taste-tests up to complex medical studies such as Parkinson’s Disease, Diabetes and Coronary projects.  There are no survey subjects that cannot be tackled.

Clients are provided with listings and code frames either in EXCEL or WORD formats. The obvious benefit of coding and data capture performed in succession is that this facilitates constant work flow enabling the achievement of tight turnarounds.

Both Eurodata and CADS have very impressive track records for reliability and accuracy. We have a large and very satisfied customer base including major clients such as Kantar Operations, GfK-NOP, IPSOS-Mori and Taylor-Nelson Sofres.

Much or our work is bespoke which demonstrates our skill and flexibility. Time is always of an essence so rigid control is maintained over many concurrent projects.

Long term, on-going contracts are handled too, some Government work requiring especially high levels of security and discretion.

The Group does not focus on one particular market sector and our horizons of expertise are constantly being widened and our experience expanded. Data is produced for the travel sector, cosmetics, automotive, psychometrics and medical arenas.

The diversity of notable past projects include capturing all of Dickens’s and Chaucer’s  works for The Oxford University Press as well as all the historic archives of meeting minutes for The Corporation of London. More recently we have captured complex operating permits for The Environment Agency.

The aim of The Group is to be reliable, professional and helpful and to complete jobs as quickly and economically as possible.
